- Ohinemutu - first setlement of the Maoris in Rotorua
- Kuirau Park - famous for its geothermal activity
- Lake Rotorua - biggest lake in the region
- Government Gardens - a beautiful and peaceful place

- Maori Village: Te Whakarewarewa - the living village. Guided tour, Concert
and Hangi lunch in the village
